The audience for this course is all financial advisors regardless of whether they are currently licensed to sell segregated funds or not. For securities and mutual fund licensed individuals, who may not necessarily be life insurance licensed, or for whom seg funds constitute only a small part of their business, the course provides a detailed comparison between seg funds and mutual funds. It explores the relative value of the trade-offs that investors make by choosing each financial instrument. For advisors who are life insurance licensed, the course provides criteria for determining seg fund suitability for individual investors. Experienced life agents and brokers will benefit from the section on recent changes in MERs and their impact on the relative value of the security features
